These two were married at the end of November, and I love that there always seems to be flowers blooming at the temple, even when elsewhere they're faded! That combined with their bright, happy color palette (color is so fun!) it doesn't feel like winter was right around the corner. During our formal session it was sweet to watch Ben take care of Amrylin (it was so cold!) and open the door for her and just be an overall gentleman. Chivalry is not dead! We love church weddings! It was so special when we got to be there as their friends and family circled around them and shared a prayer with both John & Michelle before the wedding. That can often be a stressful time but it was a moment that brought such peace! The reception was later held at the Risk Barn and the leaves there were still in all their colorful glory. The speeches were wonderful, the dance party was epic, and then later we got together to take some beautiful formal portraits in the canyon. We've said it before, but we'll say it again... Formal sessions (not on the wedding day) are the BEST way to get beautiful portraits, and we love shooting them! Shelly's one of our dearest friends in the wedding industry. We work with her all the time through Party Center. When she told us she was getting married we were beyond excited to see what her wedding would be like! Kirk & Carol were married at the always beautiful Mountain View Barn in Jerome. Just last year the venue converted the old Sears house on the property into space for bridal prep and it's SO fun to be in there and see all the details, craftsmanship, and love that's been dedicated to the place. It's become one of my favorite "getting ready" spots! Kirk & Carol crafted every detail of their day with so much thought and love. It all turned out so beautifully! We love all of our McCall weddings, but Paradise Point was an absolute dream location! Terra & Rance postponed their celebration from 2020, but this beautiful day was well worth the wait. We are so excited they finally got to tie the knot and that all of us vendors got to be there to witness it! Also, I just have to add that we were there during Huckleberry days (eeek! I'm a little obsessed with all things Huckleberry!) and I got a Huckleberry milkshake from My Father's Place (SO nostalgic from my senior year of high school when we lived in McCall) and huckleberries for our waffles from the hotel breakfast... FRESH huckleberries you guys! It was huckleberry heaven!
